Marketing Strategist

Impact Partnership is searching for a focused, high-energy, results-oriented, marketing professional looking to take their career to the next level.

The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for leading and managing marketing programs for financial advisors across the nation. Our advisor clients work in almost every marketing medium around the country, including TV, radio, print, digital media, direct mail, social media, web, event marketing, etc.

The position requires a strategic thinker who is highly self-directed, detail and deadline oriented, has the ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the marketing strategy for each client aligning with their business goals
  • Conduct frequent marketing strategy calls.
  • Understand the client’s demographic and set specific and measurable marketing goals to help the clients reach their targeted consumers
  • Analyze marketing and event metrics to recommend and implement new ideas to improve future campaigns and customer experiences
  • Hold client accountable for executing agreed upon marketing strategy.
  • Act as the liaison between in-house ad agency and clients.
  • Provide internal graphic design, web design, direct mail, and production teams with specific information and insight to inform creative strategy and execute projects efficiently.
  • Uphold clients’ brand standards throughout all marketing efforts.
  • Plan and track the response of client events.
  • Build and maintain positive and strong internal relationships to facilitate collaboration with the compliance, sales, marketing and media team.
  • Maintain an understanding of marketing strategies, current trends and insights to uncover/build unique pitches and strategic opportunities
  • Travel to advisor offices for planning meetings or events (travel ~15%)
  • Be available to work advisor and recruiting events (some early mornings and/or dinners)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • B.S. or B.A. in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • Three to five years of marketing management, marketing strategy or communications experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and implement marketing strategies that drive sales, support product launch, and improve market positioning.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient understanding of website functionality, email marketing, and social media initiatives.
  • Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to lead projects and interact with multiple departments.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced computer and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) knowledge.
  • Build and maintain positive and strong internal relationships to facilitate collaboration with the compliance, sales, marketing and media team.
