This is a hybrid Accounting/Finance position. Directly reporting to the Director of Accounting and a dotted line to the Controller, the Senior Accountant/Finance Analyst will play a key role in both the day-to-day accounting and data analysis activities of the Company. Additionally, this position provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data as well as by preparing reports. The ideal candidate will be positive, team-oriented, and motivated to take their career to the next level.

Assist in daily accounting activities and in the month-end close process
Support and assist in the budgeting and forecast process
Perform monthly analysis and prepare financial reporting package
Conduct monthly budget vs actual analysis
Define, track and report on company’s financial KPIs for reporting to management.
Compiles and prepares standard and ad hoc financial reports
Uses analysis and findings to make recommendations to management
Drive process improvements by identifying and developing more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Completing additional projects and ad hoc reporting as dictated by the needs of the business.
Serve as a backup to other finance team members as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Five or more years of strong finance/accounting experience.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required to create reports and analysis.
Knowledge of Access preferred, not required
Knowledge of Sage Intaact preferred, not required.

Able to work independently.
