The technician will be responsible for providing consistent, excellent IT service and support to our company. As a member of the IT team, the technician will work closely with other members of the technology team to ensure business and personal goals are achieved.
Installation and maintenance of desktop/server hardware and software and related administrative duties.
Adding, removing, and updating user accounts and information.
Respond to support requests in-person, by phone or email.
Execute routine maintenance of servers and software along with system performance tuning.
Analyze system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
Provide remote computer and hardware setup and replacement.
Perform remote configurations and equipment setup.
Track, log and route problems/requests and document resolutions through a ticketing system.
Research questions using available information resources.
Stay current with system information,Ā changesĀ and updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware related issues for macOS and Windows.
Maintain mobile devices including iOS and Android.
Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing environment.
Provide training to users on new applications,Ā technologiesĀ and equipment.
Install, maintain,Ā administerĀ and update network infrastructure.
Project management along with selection of new software and platforms.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelorās degree in computer science (preferred)
3 ā 5 years Tech Support or System Administrator experience.
Microsoft Office 365 ā Add/Move/Change
Windows 10 / macOS / Windows Server / ESXi
Good understanding of hardware/software, server platforms, file servers, databases, network infrastructure and monitoring.
Strong Microsoft Office experience.
Experienced Active Directory user.
Advanced PC and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
Printers ā break/fix.
Server and Network troubleshooting.
Support telephone equipment, wireless networks, e-mail clients, and Windows client installed software.
Intermediate Android and iOS support.
Experience with Azure/Intune/MDM.
Quick learner, strong/effective problem solver, team player.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and problem solving skills.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Experience with a ticketing system.
Knowledge of systems management software for managing Windows/Mac machines.
Familiarity with vendor management.
