Responsibilities

  • Edit and write compelling B2B and B2C marketing and advertising materials, including:
    • Print materials (brochures, event invitations, ads, direct mail, newsletters, articles, and more)
    • Digital materials (websites and landing pages, online offers, presentations, and email and social media campaigns)
    • Other miscellaneous marketing and copyediting projects
  • Work directly with clients, creative, and web developers
  • Work with compliance department to ensure SEC and FINRA standards are met
  • Collaborate with team to build brands for independent financial advisors

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • High-level client interaction skills
  • 1–2 years paid experience in a experience in an editing or writing role
  • A degree in English, writing, journalism, communication, or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with AP Style
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS office programs including: Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, html, and social media platforms
  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus
