The Search Engine Marketing Specialist (SEM/SEO) role is to manage all paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and Bing, as well as other search and display marketing strategies. The candidate will manage the paid search budget and work with the SEO and Marketing team to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers. The SEM Specialist will work with the marketing team and supporting team to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

  • Min. 4 years of experience in managing SEM campaigns.
  • Perform campaign strategy and keyword audits with recommendations, in accordance to market requirement
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize speed and performance based on insights
  • Reviewing and goal setting in Analytics
  • Utilize strong analytic ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Recommend optimization of PPC campaigns based on keyword performance

Desired Skills & Experience

  • BS/MS degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Experience working as a SEM specialist for an agency or business
  • Proficient knowledge of SEM tactics, keyword research and analytics, running and testing remarketing campaigns
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing tools: Google AdWords, Google Analytics, (Google Certifications a plus)
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
