Kickoff 2017 Recap

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Our office is buzzing, and our team is hard at work after our big event last week at the beautiful Westin Lake Las Vegas. Kickoff 2017 brought more than 100 of our top advisors together to share new ideas and innovations to take their practices to the next level in 2017. Weren’t able to attend last week? No worries, we’ve got you covered with a quick recap below.

BIG Ideas

Two top advisors kicked off the event by sharing experiences and processes that helped them write tens of millions in FIA premium and AUM. Darrell Bryant shared his first appointment secrets that helped him write $66MM in premium in 2016 and how he’s planning to break $70MM this year. David Hicks enlightened us with how technology has transformed his practice and showed us the tools he uses every day to reach a new demographic.

And we can’t forget about our mentor breakout sessions, when we heard big ideas from eight top practices around the country. We talked about implementing small, consistent referral events to stay in touch with clients and create comfortable environments to invite more referrals. We also learned how to motivate your support staff to hit monthly and yearly goals and drive more referrals than ever before through bonuses.

Next Level

While our advisors were swapping ideas, our special guests were launching new efforts to take the industry to the next level. Our Chief Media Officer, Mark Richards, shared how advisors grew their practices exponentially using radio and TV and what’s next for Impact Media. Impact is proud to announce we have launched a nationally syndicated radio show, Impact Your Money, hosted by licensed and legendary radio hosts. Available for Impact advisors, the show is dedicated to helping you expand your radio presence and drive leads without needing to take the time out of your busy week to record a show on your own.

And if that wasn’t enough, our new partners launched innovative ways to reach untapped premium through structured settlements. With $600 BILLION in settlement opportunities, this new path can transform our industry.

Digital, Digital, Digital

On the final day of our event, we unveiled three innovative digital marketing programs we’ve been working hard on for months. With over 19 million baby boomers spending 27 hours per week online, it’s time to make sure your marketing efforts evolve to reach this new demographic. Impact is proud and excited to help our advisors take their marketing to the next level in 2017 with Facebook advertising, SEO, and email marketing automation. We’ll help drive leads, grow awareness, and increase conversions using our comprehensive programs and experienced digital marketing team.

As you can see, we had a busy few days, but we’re more than ready and excited to start implementing these new ideas and strategies to help our advisors. Big thanks to our team, sponsors, speakers, and advisors. We couldn’t have imagined a better way to kick off 2017.
