Impact Kickoff 2020 Recap

Each year, the Impact team and our top advisors come together to ring in the new year, celebrate last year’s wins, and get geared up to do it all over again. This year, Kickoff 2020 was no different. Held in Miami at the gorgeous Intercontinental, our 100 top advisors were treated to three days jam packed with exciting announcements, marketing strategy, and business insight. Here are some of our biggest announcements of the event:

1. Partnership with Tim Tebow & the Tim Tebow Foundation

Perhaps the most exciting thing to come out of Kickoff 2020 was the official start of our new partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation. Tim Tebow was this year’s keynote speaker, and he delivered an amazing presentation about success and the power of serving others. He reminded us that no amount of money or power will ever make us as happy as helping someone in need.

That’s why we’re teaming up with the Tim Tebow Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children nation- and worldwide. Event attendees were so excited to hear this news, and they exceeded our expectations in terms of response. In the week since Kickoff, we’ve raised over $15,000 for the Foundation – and we’re just getting started.

Over the course of 2020, we’re challenging advisors to give back, either through the Tim Tebow Foundation or on their own in their communities. Advisors who raise $25,000 or more for the Foundation will have the opportunity to travel to Mexico with Tim himself and serve at one of the Foundation’s outposts.

2. Digital Video Studio

In terms of marketing announcements, we’ve got a big one. Video marketing is one of the fastest-growing mediums across all industries, and we want to help advisors capitalize on this creative and innovative tactic as much as possible. We’ve created a series of videos for advisors to customize to use in their practice for web content, on YouTube, as advertisements, or however else they see fit.

The videos cover a wide range of topics, including taxes, retirement income, and more, giving advisors tons of options to entice, educate, and entertain clients and prospects.

3. The Everest Challenge

One of last year’s top highlights was taking on the 29029 Everest Challenge as a team. We had such a good time, we decided to tackle it again – and we invite you to join us.

This year, 29029 is hosting challenges in Idaho, Utah, and Vermont, which gives you three opportunities to push yourself to your absolute limits, both physically and mentally. Here’s what some of last year’s participants had to say:

4. Impact Destinations 2021

There’s nothing like celebrating big wins with like-minded peers and the people who helped you accomplish them. That’s why we try to select the most exciting – and relaxing – locations for our advisor networking trips. In 2020, qualifying advisors will join us in either Jamaica or Iceland, and in 2021, we’ve got two more destinations planned:

Like the Iceland trip in 2020, the Greece Destination is part of a luxurious Ritz-Carlton Cruise. Both trips promise to be unforgettable!

5. Advisor Networking & Sharing

One of the most popular parts of our Kickoff events is when our top advisors opened up their practices and shared their secrets to success. This year featured great presentations from advisors on subjects like closing the deal, positioning AUM within your practice, and how to use video to take your practice to the next level. The event was also full of opportunities to network with other advisors and share tips and strategies for getting ahead.

Kickoff is always one of our favorite parts of the year, and Kickoff 2020 was a great example of that. Now that it’s over, it’s time to set everything we learned in motion to make this your best year yet.

Chief Executive Officer

Stephen started in the insurance marketing business in 2001 as a new business consultant. In 2002 he was promoted to Director of Sales and built a 200 million book of business from scratch. By 2005, he was one of the top wholesalers in the country, working with some of the top financial advisors and insurance agents across the USA. In 2008, Stephen was promoted to Co-President of one of the largest IMOs in the country.

In 2011, Stephen continued his entrepreneurship path and co-founded The Impact Partnership, an INC 5000 company. Stephen is responsible for the strategic vision of Impact and is laser-focused on creating a culture of growth for both internal teammates and our amazing customers.

Stephen lives in Kennesaw, GA, with his wife of more than 20 years, Kendra. They are blessed with three beautiful children Katie, Tyler, Anna Brooke, and Laya, their German Shepherd and Luna, their BernieDoodle.
