Big Announcement: Supercharge Your Practice in April

Reading Time: 2 minutes

It’s a brand-new month, and we’re excited to make a big announcement: We’re officially declaring April “Digital Marketing Month.” Let’s Get Digital!

Why did we decide to dedicate a whole month to digital marketing? It’s simple, really. We’ve had many conversations with advisors in different phases of practice growth, and we hear the same frustrations repeatedly:

“I’m not sure what digital marketing is.”

“I don’t know how I’d use it for my practice.”

“My clients aren’t online.”

“Where do I start?”

So, we’re going to take the next 30 days to help educate you on exactly what digital marketing is, how you should be using it, and how it can help transform your practice.

How do you get access to this information?

  1. Read our blog every Monday and Thursday for new posts.

Before we kick off the month, it’s important to take a step back and help you understand what digital marketing is and what it means for your practice.

Digital marketing is a broad term used to describe online marketing methods to digitally connect your company with your audience. Over the month, we’ll touch on most of these tactics and discuss why and how you should implement them for your business in a cost-effective manner. We’ll cover:

  • Search engine optimization
  • Content marketing
  • Paid social media advertising
  • Marketing automation
  • Email marketing
  • And more!

Over the years, our industry has been slower to adapt to these new marketing tactics compared to other industries due to our end demographic. Baby boomers weren’t ready to dive into the latest digital trend because they still preferred to receive their information through traditional channels like direct mail, radio, and TV. However, over the past few years we have seen a shift in online users, and the time has come to also shift our marketing efforts to go where the customers are now.

The internet has become an everyday part of baby boomers’ lives with their focus on information-gathering, shopping for goods and services, and staying connected with friends and family.

Studies have shown that 82% of baby boomers belong to at least one social network with the most popular being Facebook.[1] In fact, they’re 19% more likely to share content on Facebook compared to any other generation.[2]

This generation also loves videos, with over half the baby boomer population watching videos online and 82% of those people watching them on YouTube.[3]

With statistics like these, it’s hard not to get excited about the opportunity you have at your fingertips. Your audience is there; it’s time to make sure your practice is in front of them.

Don’t let your competitors beat you to the punch. Spend the month with us as our team of experts walks you through the best marketing methods to meet your audience and grow your practice.
